CTDI awarded as Samsung Eco Service Partner
Good service including environmental protection: Samsung certifies sustainable action
September 8, 2020 - Samsung Electronics has launched a certification program for service partners in Germany that focuses on sustainable action. CTDI mastered the qualification as Eco Service Partner at the first attempt. On September 8, 2020, Man Young Kim, President of Samsung Electronics, presented the certificate to Dieter Hollenbach, CEO of CTDI Europe.
Based on 21 criteria of a voluntary audit program, Samsung service workshops were able to qualify as Eco Service Partners. Samsung specialists evaluated the areas of organization, energy/climate protection, resources and waste.
CTDI is Samsung's largest repair partner for smartphones in Europe and provides services for eight European Samsung countries. "We are proud to hold the title of Eco Service Partner. Sustainable action is becoming increasingly important, and as a system-relevant company, CTDI bears a special responsibility that we are happy to accept," says Hollenbach. "CTDI's main business is the repair and refurbishment of communications equipment. Re-use instead of throwing it away – In addition to our own environmentally conscious actions, we actively support our customers in terms of sustainability.”
