Excellent project management despite Corona pandemic
CTDI Europe organizes major project in Romania
"Does anyone need this antenna?" - Initially started as a spontaneous attempt on LinkedIn, the question quickly developed into a major project. A huge Vertex Antenna was for sale in Romania. The base alone, on which the parabolic antenna was mounted, was over six meters high. And indeed: shortly after the post was published, an inquiry was received and a little later the antenna was sold to a British Israeli company, including dismantling service of all related parts. The very large system will be used again in another location, which is more than desirable in terms of sustainability.
Dismantling a satellite system of this size requires an experienced team of specialists and, last but not least, the right equipment, e.g. a crane. Both were organized and coordinated by our experienced project management team despite the difficult conditions due to the many restrictions imposed by the corona pandemic. The dismantling, which took several days, went smoothly and the parabolic antenna is on its way to its new destination.
